Infralinx Capital, the specialist infrastructure investment company founded in 2009 by a group of senior infrastructure professionals in Europe and North America, has appointed Philippe Valahu as its fourth European Partner.
With broad infrastructure experience from both commercial and development institutions, Philippe will be responsible for the company's client relations in Spain, France, Belgium and Switzerland, and will work with the other partners in other countries in the region.
Established three years ago to deliver an unrivalled blend of expertise and depth of local knowledge, Infralinx Capital has already been retained for transactions in the US, Germany, Poland, Italy, Croatia and the Czech Republic. Clients include project developers, investment funds, public authorities and construction contractors in the power, renewable energy, oil and gas, transport, communications, water and waste, and social infrastructure sectors.
Speaking of Philippe's appointment, founding partner Andrew Bride commented: "We are delighted to welcome Philippe to the European Team. He joins me and my co-partners Agnieszka Gajewska and Harald Junke at a crucial point in the growth of our European business. His expertise complements and enhances the skills of the current team and will ensure that the personalised service and support we give our public and private partners can be extended further across Europe."
