Our partners' experience spans the transport, power (including renewable energy), water and social infrastructure sectors across the globe.  We have a reputation for innovation and an award-winning track record, whilst bringing a strong practical perspective to risk and transaction structuring.

TRANSPORTATION

The team has worked extensively across Europe and the Americas on transactions ranging from toll roads and airports with full patronage risk to structured construction financings. We have a comprehensive understanding of traffic risk and a practical approach to dealing with, an understanding of both the economic and cultural issues involved and of the attitudes of financial institutions.  Keynote transactions include pioneering motorways in Croatia, Poland and Hungary, construction financings in Italy and an innovative light rail system, also in Italy. Recent transactions include a construction financing in Poland and advice to a bidder for a rail project.

SOCIAL INFRASTRUCTURE

A track record stretching back to the start of the UK’s Private Finance Initiative and including prisons, hospitals and schools in Europe, North America and Asia gives us a depth of understanding that reaches beyond current procedure or dogma.  This understanding informed the structuring of the EPIC II global PPP loan securitisation, a transaction that remains unique in the breadth of its scope.
