Dainis has over 25 years experience in investment management and advisory services, six of them being engaged in the “Investment Management and Advisory Group” in Vienna, Austria, followed by establishing the Latvia-based advisory office DB Partners in the Baltic States. During his career he has been the member of several Supervisory Boards, including the “Riga Commercial Bank”, “Baltic Transit Bank”, “Riga Commercial Free Port”, among others. For two years Dainis has held the position of the Advisor to the Minister of Finance of Latvia. He also was a Member of the Board at “Baltic Motors” and “Baltic Container Terminal”. Dainis has successfully lead various private equity and restructuring projects in logistics, medical, travel, insurance, catering, food production, retail, automotive, real estate, energy, timber and other industries.
Dainis holds a BA (Economics) at the Latvian State University.
